A woman who fled from Frey Wall all the way to JanCastle, avoiding the eyes of the Krimkar the whole way.

A dwarf who fought against the dragon Korakryd alongside Clarise and Loken. He mourned Clarise's death.

King of the dwarves in southern Kardronia. He fought against the dragon Korakryd alongside Clarise and Lestat.

Clarise

A healer from Pettetonia who fought alongside Loken and Lestat against the dragon Korakryd. She died from wounds received in the battle.

Eidelon

A merchant in JanCastle, working the docks and trading with Nek-Terabi for food and supplies.

Queen Zierzhashra

The queen of an ancient desert city in the distant past. She explained that the portal allows backward time travel for plundering future riches. She convinced the party to close it to halt monstrous invasions, sacrificing their future gear, and fled with them from an angry mob.

Dark King

A gaunt, long-limbed necromancer performing vile rituals in a foul-smelling chamber. He was confronted by the party amid ghouls, and whispers from the room temporarily incapacitated Ragana and Harlina.

Gormund

An ancient hill giant and follower of Mitra who buried the sunken tower a century ago to seal necromantic evils. He shared food with the party, revealed the tower's history, and gifted magical items including the Sunburst Amulet, Mitra’s Shielding Ring, Dawnlight Arrow, and Purge Flame Lantern. He helped lower the party into the dungeon.

A villager in Stormhaven who interacted with the party during their stay, expressing doubts and offering stew.

A fisherman from Sealowe.

Gore

Ogre chief leading a raiding party that attacked the fishing village of Sealowe. Killed by the party in the Coastal Clash with Ogre Raiders.

Stessa Goldenkey

Stessa Goldenkey is an elf and the Matriarch of the Goldenkey, a collection of temples in the Stormcrest isles that are led by elves but include gnomes and humans. She is usually found in Farweather and cares for the people of the town as well as travelers. The Goldenkeys require normal payment for healing services but are known to help people in need and who cannot afford the payment.

Sraushelm Haven

Straushelm is the leader of the mining group that the group encountered during the "Chill of the Icebound Cave" session. The group stole 200 coin worth of gold from his mine. He was kicked out of Stormhaven because he mined the mountain even though it was forbidden by village law. He hates Thorne because a decade ago they got into an argument over some mundane village politics and Thorne became village chief while Straushelm lost rights to his home and had to move to the edge of the village.

Winder

A dog that came from the JanCastle refugee's upon their arrival at Farweather. Silas bought him from the refugee's and gave him to the group after they requested a scout dog to help find the ogres. His previous owner was Tayrigan. He is 4 years old and was a scout dog during the Krimkar war.

Hestevek Krell

The nephew of Kram Krimkar. Hestevek was a key leader in the decade prior to the return of the Krimkar to the JanCastle lands. He oversaw a horde of the Krimkar in the swamp lands of the north, recruiting and enslaving the populations of the land to the will of the Krimkar. During their return to their ancestral homeland, he scouted the lands, gathered intel by traveling throughout JanCastle, and even befriended Leferin JanCastle before returning north to help Kram organize the secret construction of the Black Spire. Now he is in charge of Morfell. He forces the peoples of JanCastle to do hard labor in the mines of the mountains and in the fields. He has also constructed a combat arena where Krimkar test their mettle against slaves taken from the JanCastle population.

Grimgor

An ogre chief leading a roaming band of ogres that recently arrived at the Stormcrest Isles. They were scouted and spotted by Silas who provided this information with Harlina, Ragana, Dow, and Drokin. Grimgor has forced orcs and goblins into his raiding party, who he uses as distractions, scouts, and fodder in combat. He has accumulated great wealth plundering and pillaging.

Marta Grest

The innkeeper of the Foggy Mug Inn. She is well respected and keeps the gambling activities of the town constant and active. She is a thin woman who wears a red dress with a cream colored corset, has shoulder length blond hair, and always has a dagger sheathed on her hip.

Elder Thorne Blackwood

Thorne descended from the elder of the original settlers of Stormhaven, four generations ago. His great-grandfather sealed a "cursed cave" after a mining accident killed dozens. Thorne gained fragments of Aetheri lore from family journals and more recently traveled the east coast of Vinor and gathered more lore of the Aetheri. These books were taken by Harlina. He is now exiled from Stormhaven after his attempts to harness the power of the Aetheri, leading to the deaths of a eight of the people of the village.

Silas the Redletter

Silas the Redletter is a half elf with a bad limp in his left leg who is in the business of providing information to those who need it or could benefit from it, always making money in the process. He is a dark eyed figure with an even darker past, who is recognized in many towns and inns, but few know his background. Rumors say that he lives in a hidden mansion somewhere in the Isles. Stories have come from the mainland city of Silvereth, where his name of "The Redletter" has come to the Isles. Stories mention this Silas the Redletter being a killer beyond compare. However, his behavior in the Isles to not match these older accounts.

Lord Harlan Graves

Harlan Graves was born to Hardel and Srimela graves. Hardel met Srimela on a business trip to Silvereth with whom he had 4 sons and 5 daughters. Harlan was the third oldest but his older brothers both died in local skirmish wars with nearby islands within the Stormcrest Isles. When his father dies at sea to some tentacled creature, he became Lord of Farweather. He immediately began drawing people from nearby islands to come work at the city, mine ore from the mountain, move that ore to the coast, and sell it at a fair price to the merchants that traveled the isles. He refused to build any dock or seaside village, wanting Farweather to remain inland and isolated to prevent any easy attack by challengers and competitors within the island chain.

He joined with Thorne Blackwood and went to war against the Keldak, a society of yeti's that live on Thorne's island. Thorne retreated early in the largest battle, leaving Harlan to fight alone. Taking severe casualties and a wound to his shoulder that left a large scar, Harlan and Thorne became enemies. When Harlan heard that Thorne was humiliated by being chained to a post for two days by his village and then being kicked out of the village of Stormhaven.

The wizard of the tower of Ald Satha. He is a gray elf but because of his power he receives privileges among the JanCastle.

Avalryn JanCastle

A lord of JanCastle and the cousin, once removed, of Storm JanCastle. He has been out at war beyond the borders of JanCastle in the south and east lands for over a decade. He has extended the borders of the kingdom more than anyone else has since the days of Storm's youth.

Riven JanCastle

One of the many judges in the city of JanCastle.

Bregor Bellfather

An investigator and lawyer who is often paid by the JanCastle family to prosecute cases against dwarves. This keeps the JanCastle family on more friendly relationships with the dwarven houses and families instead of having a JanCastle prosecutor.

Asher Godorn

A cousin of Doleb Godorn. Asher is a private investigator who turned down the Redstone mines and Stonehammer Mining Company job because it was too dangerous.

Refugee from the country side of JanCastle during the war. Manager of the Warbelly Hideout under the leadership of the members of Mdr Corp. (Aka the name of the player's group, Ignis, Giera, Tempest, and Melody).

Podai Gerlin

A guard of the city. Geira spoke to him. He was forthcoming with information about the war with the Krimkar.

Tayrigan JanCastle (Turk)

A janitor of The Pit. He is actually Tayrigan JanCastle, a JanCastle lesser nobleman in hiding. While at war, he gave information over to the Krimkar before battle, leading to a defeat in battle. They JanCastle’s think he did it for payment. He actually did it because the army of JanCastle was being led into a trap and no one would listen to him, so he did what he could to prevent the JanCastle army from walking into the trap. He is no in hiding at the Pit as a janitor.

The Lord of the Sunken Castle

The Lord of the Sunken Castle. He controls the region north of Talion along with the passage that has been built through the mountains.

A potion seller that has a stand on the road by North Watch. He gave Dorian and Mephiston some dysfunctional potions.

The general of the 3rd legion. In the spring of 158 they were stationed at the North Pass.

The Lord of the North Pass. He is charged with the defense and oversight of the mountains, the protection the citizens along the road over the mountains, and the management of the North Pass city.

The person who is suspected to have attacked the Pit and then targeted the party after they began investigating the attack. His living area contained a tattered and worn letter which was mostly unreadable but the words "Let the Storm end" could be read along with this name.

He went by the name of "Varson" while in the city of JanCastle.

Hayden Stravo

Hayden has lived in the city of JanCastle his whole life. He has a sister named Haila that he went north a few years ago on what was supposed to be a short trip and never returned. Hayden has asked Blank to look for her.

Doleb Godorn

A dwarven lawyer who had his nephew stolen by the goblins of Olub. He tried to raise awareness to the issue and get JanCastle to take action but it was too late. The goblins and the Krimkar already launched their attack on the lands of JanCastle before he could stop them.

Jayla Folen

A scribe master in JanCastle. She sent Atreus to Morfell to retrieve some official tax documents for her clients in JanCastle. The sister of Freyda Folen.

Freyda Folen

The younger sister of Jayla Folen. She was kidnapped by the Krimkar barbarians at the age of 11. She was converted to their ways before being found by Pilfretta at the age of 24. Pilfretta was able to convince her of the evils of the Krimkar and so she left the barbarians. However, she kept to her ways and now travels as a warrior for hire in the lands of JanCastle.

Drod Bellfather

The owner of the tavern on the 3rd level of The Pit. He suspects the group of having stolen from him during the Necromancer attack.

Lola Meflar

A attractive women with a strong jaw line and strong arms. She was freed by Mephiston, Yhodels, Dorian, Gargarash, and Willow from the goblins of Olub in the dungeon of Hakurro. She took a liking to Mephiston and nursed his wounds after their fight with the Krimkar on August 25, 157 J.C.

She was born in JanCastle and married her first husband, Bram Meflar, in the city. He died in the war of 145 J.C. She remarried and moved to Morfell. Her second husband was a soldier of JanCastle stationed at the North Watch. In 149 J.C. he was taken captive by the Krimkar. His head was returned to the people of Morfell.

She remarried again, this time to a blacksmith named Streven Brightside. For certain months of the year he would work in the Black Mountains. He had a large house in the city of Morfell, six bedrooms in total, and was well off. In 154 J.C., Lola accompanied him on one of his trips to the Black Mountains. On their return journey they were waylaid by a group of bandits. Streven sacrificed himself to allow time for her to escape.

Upon returning to Morfell she could hardly believe what had happened. Rumors spread that she killed her husbands for their wealth. For the last three years she has worked the smithy and taken in borders to supplement her income. Most of the borders are single woman who have had a similar history of men killed in battle, or lost in other ways.

An old but strong man that lives about 30 minutes west of Fray Wall. He lives on the Warren Farm.

Yohdels' mom. She lives on the Lodalin Farm outside of Morfell. She saved Mephiston, Yohdels, and Dorian after they fell to the Krimkar by putting a spear threw the back of the only Krimkar to survive the battle.
