Rescued by Castilian Knights
On your way back to Hakurro under the escort of Drak and the other Krimkar raiders, a group of forty or so Castilian knights approach. They demand answers from the Krimkar. Mephiston attacks Drak with a spell and a skirmish begins. The knights quickly help dispatch the Krimkar. The leader of the knights introduces himself as Jake Folen and says he was sent by Doleb to find his nephew and a group that he sent north to investigate for goblin activity. The knights take you to the North Watch.
Sent to Hakurro
Mephiston, Gargarash, Yohdels, and Dorian Hyde were sent by the Krimkar to help the Olub goblins clear out a lower level of Hakurro. Kreefdin was sent with them, as the Krimkar did not know if Kreefdin was apart of their group or not. Drak and a group of Krimkar raiders went with them as an escort to Hakurro and back.

A sack of coin
As Elbob cleaned the blood from the Krimkar weapons, he discovered a sack of coins abandoned by one of the warriors. Estimating it contained at least one hundred coins, he contemplated seizing it and concealing it within his tunic. The temptation weighed heavily on him, knowing such wealth could alter his circumstances amid the oppression.
New Friends
Willow Durn settled into life in the village of Frey Wall, a place she had rarely visited north of Morfell. As a newcomer, she quickly formed bonds with the local farmers and their children, who welcomed her with open arms. She spent her days visiting their homes, sharing tales of her journeys through the woods, and offering fresh meat from her successful hunts. In exchange, the villagers provided her with a comfortable place to stay, creating a sense of belonging in this rugged northern community. Over time, these connections deepened, turning brief acquaintances into lasting friendships that enriched her understanding of the land and its people.
An exchange of words
In the midst of performing his daily duties around the Krimkar village, Elbob witnessed a long procession of women shackled in chains being marched through the settlement. Helplessly, he observed as his mother was among the captives, her face etched with despair. Suddenly, a band of goblins emerged, their presence sparking palpable animosity between them and the Krimkar warriors. "Chief Olub," Elbob heard one goblin pronounce in a thick, gurgling accent using the common tongue.
Kram, the towering Krimkar leader, appeared and loomed over Olub, his stature dwarfing the goblin chief. "Do not address yourself in my domain!" Kram bellowed angrily. "Here are your slaves," he continued, his voice laced with menace. "Eric warned he would be displeased if these were devoured like the others. But rest assured, his fury pales compared to mine."
Olub, the goblin chief, responded in a guttural, rasping voice. "More women? We require strong blood. Where are the men?"
"The men belong to me, as per our agreement from March," Kram retorted sharply.
"Is that elf lover among them?" Olub inquired suspiciously. "We have no use for elf lovers."
Kram glanced at one of his soldiers, who gestured toward a young, beautiful woman in the line. "Clearly she is present, and you will handle her no differently from the rest. Now, proceed to excavate your tunnels while I erect my fortress," Kram commanded. With that, Olub departed, leading the procession of approximately thirty women, including Elbob's mother, into the shadows.
The life of the Krimkar
While tending to his chores within the Krimkar settlement, Elbob bore witness to the brutal treatment inflicted upon the slaves by their captors. The Krimkar exhibited a harsh demeanor toward their captives, yet Elbob also observed moments of familial tenderness among them. He saw the warriors returning home exhausted from perilous endeavors, greeted by their wives cradling newborns and children frolicking in the dirt. These glimpses revealed a duality in the Krimkar existence, where savagery coexisted with the simple joys of domestic life.
Learning from shamans

Getting along quite well
You do well in your days spent with the Krimkar. You avoid the menial work that the others were forced to do and instead train with some of the Krimkar warriors. It becomes obvious that even their average soldier out matches you in combat, and their best warriors are leagues ahead in combat skills. While this intimidates you, it also helps you learn.
